I’m delighted to invite you back to the theatre!

On September 10th at 2 pm, I’m thrilled to share with you another collaboration with The Firehouse Center for the Arts! This time, we are entering the world of English playwright extraordinaire Caryl Churchill, in her explosive, hilarious, thought-provoking, and exquisitely written one-act play ESCAPED ALONE.

The play depicts a series of afternoon conversations in a garden over tea–but what conversations! In this tight and witty hour, three old friends and their neighbor unearth dark secrets and share unsettling prophecies in language you won’t soon forget.

I’ve been honored to develop this piece with four tremendous performers: Pamela Battin-Sacks, Kimberly Holliday, Carol Raiche and Pauline Wright.
In fact, Pauline first brought this play to our attention in a Lemon Punch Directing Workshop in 2021, and Pamela Battin-Sacks is also putting on her first producer’s hat for this project.

Best of all, this staged reading is the first step towards a full production this coming April!

So join us for a first remarkable look at ESCAPED ALONE on September 10th at the Firehouse. Tickets are $5 and proceeds all go to the Firehouse to support their upcoming season!   https://www.firehouse.org/event/escaped-alone/
