We had such a great time at the first Lemon Live Microplay Festival that we are now calling for submissions for the next iteration in May!
The second Lemon Live Microplay Festival will be held via Zoom on Tuesday evening, May 12th at 7 pm, with a second performance on Sunday the 17th at 2 pm (for those who prefer matinees!).
- Playwrights will find submission guidelines below.
- Actors wishing to read should email Leslie to be put on the reader list. Please include “Lemon Live Reader” in your subject heading. If you can only read at one performance, please indicate that.
- Interested audience members should also email Leslie to be put on the Zoom invitation list. Please include “Lemon Live Audience” in your subject heading. If you have a preferred performance date to attend, please indicate that.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- Please write a play of 200 words or fewer on any topic of your choosing.
- This should be a 3-character play.
- During the first 100 words, characters 1 & 2 should discuss character 3.
- At some point after word 100, character 3 should enter.
- Please submit your plays in Word or PDF format by emailing Leslie.
- Please include “Lemon Live Submission” in your subject heading, and please include your title and last name in your document’s file name.
- SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS MONDAY, MAY 4 AT 7 PM!
